In many shops a similar plant is often on sale called cabomba which is no where near as attractive as this plant.

It has so many things going for it . Grows very quickly and offers protection for any smaller fish in the tank.

An ideal plant for a breeding tank for both egg-layers and livebearers.

Can be planted in the existing gravel in an aquarium or in a small pot  containing gravel.

Will restrict the growth of unwanted algae.

All this plant requires  is normal aquarium lighting and usual heat to flourish.

Cuttings are easily taken and will root very rapidly.
